Hi everyone

Just in the process of buying a cc from Arnold Clark, I went to pick up the car today but after getting my son to take the car for a drive he reckoned that the clutch was not right. It comes up really high before biting, not slipping at all, but I am a bit concerned. The salesman told me that the car had just passed an MOY test today, I pointed out that the clutch did not come in to the MOT, he then said that all cars drive differently, true, but my son had a 2002 206 hatch a few years ago and surely the clutch is the same as the CC. Needless to say, I left the car and told them to get it looked at, can anyone give me an idea of how the clutch should feel? also, can the clych be adjusted?

Thanks

Helen

But I agree that if you are not happy with the car don't buy it.

On my car the biting point was very high and I think it is on all CC's... nothing wrong with it.
