Hi All,
Bad news am afraid…. My beloved 2.0L Allure in Diablo Red has gone.:(:(

Good news is… I picked up my new 1.6L HDI Allure in Iron Grey this morning.
At first I was reluctant to let my old car go as I liked the colour so much & Peugeot don’t do the 206cc in Diablo Red anymore but the Iron Grey with it’s white leather lama interior is growing on me. But also at least it’s cheaper on fuel, insurance & road tax.
There have been some changes to the new model in comparison to my old car
i.e. Rain gutters to stop the water falling on you when you open the door,
JBL sound system which sounds great, Auto locking doors, follow me home headlights.
Also the auto headlights & wipers are activated slightly differently.
One thing I would of liked is cruise control but this I was told only comes with the 1.6L petrol??

One other thing, I took the boot net of my old car but the new one has no where to hook the net too… has anyone else come across this?:/

Hi Reap,
Asked the dealer again if they could fit cruise control and hinted that it was possible but got the usual blank look.
Apologies for not understanding your technical description of what needs doing,
but am I correct in translating to layman’s terms: I need to have an additional stalk fitted (or is the lights stalk replaced?)
It then has to have the machine plugged in to active cruise control.
Sorry didn’t understand what “comm2000â€

you need additional stalk.oppisite to where radio control is.
you will see a cut out for it in the plastic surround.
they need to plug in on diag. gointo bsi(builtin systems interface) turn crusie on ,think its 2.1 and without speed limiter..they should know..
then into engine managment...turn on cruise and turn on clutch contact switch....again will make sense to them when they are there
then into instument panel ....turn on cruise.
after this you may?? get a cruise display on your speedo...not all do though, depends on level of spec car and bsi
at worst you gonna have normal cruise on and off with no display. :)
hope this makes more sesnse?

bsi(built in systems interface) is main information gateway for vehicle electronics, pretty much all the ecus on your car will pass information to this central computer.very similar to your home p.c

com200 is basically your wiper, indicator stalk, most people think that they are just on,off switchs as in the old days, this assumption is very wrong.tis also a small ecu/computer and actually works on digital signals being sent to the bsi.
it controls airbags, esp, wipers, lights, horn etc. so dont ever spray wd40 into it. :)
