I left my 206CC for a week while in Vegas, when I started her up and tried to move off,the handbrake was stuck on,after some gentle rocking it released with a clunk.Anyone know how to stop this occuring again.I have just had new brakes and cylinders a few months ago-the handbrake has always been a bit noisy.

Thanks.

Last time i had that sound in one of my cars the cylinders were knackered along with the horse shoes inside? they had seized and buckled. get it checked. maybe poor workmanship from previous repairer
They've taken everything that i've had to give and, They say its over man but i'm still here livin', I don't no what to do, I think that maybe, I'm in over my head.......

Hello Sickboy, How's your fiancee these days. She's disappeared from your posts?
With your sea air the pads will stick to the discs if the handbrake is left on tight that long.
Next time leave the car in first gear to stop it moving and leave the handbrake off. (If not parked on a hill of course).
I always leave mine in gear with the handbrake off in my garage.
Regards,
Ron
