boot won't open

I've had a good look round the site at peoples boot problems and ours is abit harder to solve. Simple thing is we can't get in the boot, wiring or part of the lock needs replacing. Turn the key nothing and happens. The seat and small panels in the boot are off but we can't access the lock at the back because the boot is full of shopping. There's no way of moving the shopping because there isn't the room to do so. Anyway anyone got any other ideas on how to get the boot open?
