When I left work today the petrol warning light came on and beeped 3 times as per the norm. About 20 secs later I got a message saying 'ANTIPOLLUTION FAULT' flashing on the central display and the ECU light came on, the car then cut out. I managed to get it started but had no power, I was hitting 6000 revs and only managing abut 30 in 5th! I managed to get to a garage, by this time the petrol light was flashing faster than a man in a beige mac outside a convent, once i had filled up the car was fine again. This never ususally happens as soon as the petrol light comes on and I can usually easily make it to a garage without any problem. Any ideas???

Look up ''anti pollution fault'' in the search engine on the menu this has been covered loads of times, would appear to be a very common fault.

Ive experienced this fault twice on my car. Left work pulled out of car park started to accelerate then cut out, managed to bump start it but ran like a bag of shite all the way home!! Ive never had this fault for a month or so now so hope its cured itself!! Fingers crossed! My main prob now is the engine coolant temp too high which comes on daily and pisses me right off. Ive been advised to change the sensor but dont know where it is or how??? any ideas??

Hope yr prob cures itself aswell
