Auto Headlights

Hi all How ya doin?

I have just recently bought a second hand 206cc 2.0 SE (52 reg) but i haven't got the full spec. The headlight stalk has auto written on it so I assume that it has auto lights however thay don't come on do I have to activate them in some way or are they broken? I just haven't got a scooby. It would be much appreciated if anyone could help!!

you may not have auto lights.they use the same switch for auto lights.your auto maybe in fact intermitant wipe. :0
have you got a rain sensor at the top of you windscreen slap in the middle? if no,then no auto lights.soz.

If I remember right, you have to put the key to either accessories or ignition, but not start the car, then press and hold the button on the stalk. After a few seconds, it'll beep and say on the screen "auto lights on" or something simular.

yeah tried the key thing and button pushing and it worked
