Hello there!
I'm new here...and sure I like the site and the forum...

I have a 4 doors 206 1.6 for the last 2 years...It's a great car from Peugeot and I love it so much...

I've been thinking for a while replacing it with a new 206cc or get the new 207 or the 207cc....

new 207 sure have more techs and better enterior and the other new stuff....but I didn't like the front facelift of the car alot...I feel that it is more likely to be a smalller 307 :(

so what do u think?

is buying 206cc now a mistake? just because I was driving a 206 for the last 2 years + the 207cc now is on the way to the markets?

I'm confused abit...so give me ur thoughts

Buying a 207cc would probably be the mistake. Nobody knows what it will be like in the real world and early model cc's are notoriously bad.

Well the 207 is going to be more up to date, and I expect there will be some nice new features. The problem is these cars with the electric roof really struggle in their early days. The problems are eventually ironed out over a few years and a facelift.

But then you may buy a perfect 207 or a dud 206.... its luck of the draw a bit!, but the 206 is more tried and tested. Ive had an '04 206CC and now have an '06 206 hatch... both have been almost perfect (touch wood)

Its just great for the summer... Im thinking of getting a drop top again for this summer as last year wasn't much fun! ....oooo just thinking about it is getting me juices flowing lol :firedevil:

hehehehe :P I touched the wood don't worry

yeah, I think u have a good point about the electric roof...206 is tested and it's on the streets for couple of years.

I never owned a convertable car before...so what's the problem driving it in the winter?

I don't know if I can wait to the summer to see what would happen with a 207cc...but to be honest...I like the 206cc more! even more the 307cc...

what about the price? is the 206cc will have a price cut after the 207cc is here? or what?

The folding metal roof is great in winter, much better than a canvas roof.... thats one of the great things about it. When the roof is up its no different than your hatch :D

the 206cc was first launced here in the uk around march 2001, i had one of the first ones

from what i gather the 206cc with continue to be made even when the 207cc is launched, guess at a lower price and lower made numbers.

you thinking of buying new or old ?

I'd personally go for a 207cc if you can afford it, they look amazing! The metal roof gives you the best of both worlds - no roof in the summer, and a coupe all winter

goooood thing...;)

everybody here and all friends telling me not to buy a 206cc or even 207...

they all say I can get a BMW 1 Series...or Opel Astra Hatchback....or anything like that...

even a Ex 206cc owner...he's telling me that after driving 206 for 2 years...moving to 206cc won't be alot of change!

I asked about the price here...it will cost about 34000 US $ with tax and papers (new for the petrol 1.6 Automatic)...but they expect a price drop soon after the 207 is here.
