I own a 206 SR (i have done a search on the 206 site and they were no help, this site helped me b4, so i trust this 1). my car got broken in2 last nite, they bent da door open and pulled the lock up of the door - and my head unit among other things was stolen!! :(

i dont fink the alarm went off - and as far as im conserned, the model car i own has an alarm and immobilser as standard!!!

how do i get the alarm working - i herd its something to do with the remote central locking and the key its self?? is that true??

so how do i get the alarm ON and Working - i tried locking at wid da remote C/L as usual and shaking the car 2 see if it will go off - iT DONT.......i dont fink it will even if a started hittin it wid a crow bar.

im planin 2 but a decent alarm from ebay but i need this 4 time being...PLZZZ HELP!!!

There are 2 buttons on the key, the first locks the car and the second smaller one deadlocks it. This fully activates the alarm and will stop the doors opening even if the lock is jimmy'd by the door being bent open.

your car may not even have an alarm? just cause you got central locking, dosent mean to say you have an alarm.
have you got ultra sonics on the head lining of the car on the left and right?.
(little black speaker looking things on the pillars??.)
if not......then your car is not alarmed.
if yes......then your car is alarmed BUT only if bonnet, and inside the car is intruded,it wont have a tremer alarm....so you can rock that bad boy all day and nowt will happen :D

dude... check ya manual? surely that would tell you if you had an alarm.

to test my alarm on my cars i tend to set the alarm (with the CC use the remote) and then open my boot with the key!
