Help needed on roof - im being ripped off by the dealer

Please, please, please can anyone help.

On putting my roof down on the car it stuck just as it went into the boot. I went through the process of putting the roof up manually and the roof is up fine, the btt locks but the boot lid that closes against the back wind screen will not lock in place.

Ive been to the dealer today and they say it needs a new pump at the cost of Â£851, to be honest they didnt really seem to know what it needed.

I would be grateful for any help

have to remembered to reset the little white clips after you did the manual operation of the roof ?

When you say about â€œboot lid that closes against the back wind screen will not lock in place.â€
