Hello,
i recently took my car to the local peugeot dealer as i was getting vibrations at high speed. They said it must be the balancing so that was checked ! Then as it was still doing it i had the tracking corrected. It was still doing it ! The so called dealer re-tracked the fronts that is!
The recommended a local indie tyre dealer .... who have just re-tracked the fronts FOC!! but the report says the backs are not to manufacture spec, are these even adjustable?
So much for the dealer being able to do tracking! they left my front left 4.1mm incorrect ! A refund needed perhaps !
Rear tracking ! 307cc

hia
the rear geometry is not adjustable on the 307 cc.
however. we have had a few 307s scrubbing rear tyres.there is a offical(unoffical) repair of changing the rear axle.
ill see if i can find it? tis similar to the hydrolic followr issue.
you mat be able to get yurself a new rear beam buddy and a spanky pair of tyres to boot.
if interested ill post tmrrow

Hello
I had to take my car to a different apparently the one i took it to couldnt do a E-diag that peugeot wanted.
The new dealer concluded that I need a new rear axel. They are waiting for peugeot to confirm they can do it on warranty.

its not so good ... peugeot want to come and look at it cos they say it might have been in an accident for that to happen. It hasnt been in an accident, maybe I should ask for a new car if thats the only way it could have happened !! As it was brand new when I got it !
Maybe they are quizzing it more as I have done 15k and not noticed !
JCT in hull was the dealer that couldnt do an ediag.

well that was nonsense "Dixons" told me! Peugeot do not want to see it, they accept that it was caused by impact as that was the dealers opinion ! Not that ive had any accident!
My rear left tyre is scubbed apparently!
and JCT 600 don't know how to track front wheels !
Im taking it to yet another dealer. This will be the 3rd ! As sugested by peugeot customer services, not that they are much of a service!
My last ever peugeot! and ive had 3 + 1 citreon !

Barkers of Malton!! I found a very good dealership, they have confirmed the problem is purely to do with my tyre wear and will be sorted when I get two new fronts.
My rear axel is fine and my rimms are not bent as dixons told me! It amazes me, was this not fraud? They told me to claim off my insurance !
