My air-conditioning, intermittently, but more recently, a lot more frequently, fails to deliver the temperature selected.

The worst occasion was a night time trip through the country (between Sydney & Melbourne). It was 7 degrees outside and my air conditioning decided the cabin needed to be cooled down further regardless of what temperature I'd selected.

Has anybody else had this problem? What's the fix?
Cheers,
Michael

maybe a leak in the A/C system, have you used it much as lack of use can make the seals dry out and lets the gas escape

No, I don't think it's anything like a leak in the system cos the next day everything is back to normal.

This once about two years ago, but has happened twice in the last two weeks - just as we're coming into Winter!

The A/C just doesn't seem to have a clue what the temperature in the cabin is already.
Cheers,
Michael
