I'm not a fan of stick-on "aerodynamic" stuff in general (you'll note that the Cerb, with 360bhp, has no aero "enhancements" although I'm not convinced it's the better for it).

Your spoiler looks pretty inoffensive, IMHO, but I don't think it really integrates with the rear of the bootlid rails. YMMV, etc.

Neither am I a fan Carl but I do think that Dabz' car looks good, and I think that's what matters to Dabz. Not everyone would want a 360 bhp Cerbera either. They don't appeal to me, but that is not to say others shouldn't like them.

Each to their own.

I didn't say it doesn't look good. I just think it would look better either (a) without the spoiler, or (b) without the bootlid rails. Have you considered a smooth boot lid?

PS: I also really like the dark blue with llama leather combination, but it wasn't available when we had our CC. Chrome hoops are good too, though I went for ally, but I think the chrome looks really nice on Dabz's car.

i did consider removing the boot rails and smoothing the boot but I'm trying to cut down on modding hehe..spent a lot on all the other subtle mods so after I get a quickshift this should be it. I saw a danish cc with this same spoiler (with the boot rails) and quite liked it so I copied :P

the spoiler was purely to make it look how I wanted the back end to look...the car is by no means a performance car (even with the 2.0 16v, £200 of induction and custom exhaust) so it has no effect on aerodynamics..if anything it will add extra drag!

A smoothed bootlid isn't nice. Saw a car advertised on here a number of months ago with it done and it looked crap :)

Spoilers are nice but you can't say that looks better then the Ecosse Virtuel spoiler Dabz :D

Your car look really good, I think it need something at the back. I've been looking on the net for one. Where did you get this one and did you get them to spray it or do it your self? Did you fit it? Was it hard?

Cheer for any advice you can give.

ecosse are selling these now after I got mine from europe...they're £110 + vat form ecosse I believe, and then I got a local bodyshop to spray/fit mine which cost £120 + VAT

i defintiely think it improves the back end
