Where is the best guide/site for working out what price I could get for my car? Really don't want to sell, but we have a new baby and the CC is our only car - can't fit all of us plus pram etc in comfortably.

Also, how much should I add for the following:-

206cc luxury mats
Windstop
Sports upper and lower grille
Bonnet top grille
Chrome hoops
Rear sports lights

Thanks.

All rough guesses

206cc luxury mats - £20
Windstop - £100+
Sports upper and lower grille - £80
Bonnet top grille - £20
Chrome hoops - £70
Rear sports lights - £30

checkout ebay to see if anyone else is selling similar items :)

If you sell those items separately you may get those prices. However, if you sell the car with those bits on then I wouldn't expect to get any more for the car. You may make it easier to sell if your mods are to the buyer's liking, but equally you could put some buyers off who want an "unmolested" car.

Personally I think the SP grilles and the chrome hoops would add to the desirability. But not the price. I certainly wouldn't pay more for a car with stick-on bits.

Hi there Jem,

I totally agree with Carl.

Sell the wind deflector separately on eBay, put it on for 10 days, time the bidding to finish on a Friday or Saturday evening about 9.30pm and watch the bids flow in. I paid £180 a couple of months ago for one and they consistently fetch £150+. Put a low reserve on if you must but personally I wouldn't bother with a reserve. Bit scary I know but put a low starting price of say £9.99 to generate interest from lots of buyers and the competition will push the price up. Make sure you do a first class advert with good photos.

Best of luck with your sales.
