Done a manual roof raise - how do I go back to auto?

I've had to manually raise the roof as I stupidly

stopped pressing the button when half open. I followed all the instructions in the owners manual but it doesn't tell you how to get it working again. I've tightened to hyrdaulics back up but I can't seem to get the roof to open automarically now. All I get is a beeping noise when I press the roof button. Is this a dealer job or is their something simple I should know?

You'll have to go back to the Dealer and get them to reset the roof mechanism. Unfortunately its only something the dealer can do as it happen to me a while back.

I took itr back to the dealer and booked it in for a check up. When I arrived a very kind man on the service desk fixed the problem free of charge in abouit 5 minutes. Just needed opening manually and then resetting.

ive accidentally let go of the switch before and even done it on purpose but nothing seems to affect it... so far

WARNING: Don't 'accidentally' turn the key off whilst closing (or opening) the roof. That's enough to stuff the system. No amount of disconnecting and reconnecting the battery made any difference.

I did this during my first week of ownership. The dealer kindly sorted it out free of charge.
