Soz if i post this in the wrong place! lol! 8)

Anybody driven the new micra c+c?

After my lil 206cc got written off :( (still waiting for insurance pay out) i decided id hav a lil look at what other convertibles are out there. ones that are in my price range (ish!!) and that i can get insured on! wanting a hard top convertible! not many out there that an 18yr old girl can get insured on tbh :? ! but thought id take a look at the new nissan micra c+c..

Will say.. if you like the look of the micra (from the front) the new micra convertible is a nice car! bit smaller than the 206cc so gettin people in the back will be even more difficult.. but other than that the inside is nice, dials are nice, comfy seats, hidden storage, maybe slightly larger boot, easy to drive, handles well..! lovely car really! i mean it was a well thought out car.. think they thought of everything really! lol
i thought the car was really nice to look at from both the SIDE and the BACK and even nice INTERIOR! but then.. you look at it from the front  !
15k> to spend on wot looks like a normal micra from the front :? im unsure!! :|
my opinion of course!

Lets just say.. i went to the peugeot garage afterwards..!! ;)

All i need is my money!

just wondered wot everyone else thought about the car.. if you've seen it or whatever??

Yeah would you? I tried asking Peugeot if they could supply and fit some Micra moving missiles behind the front grille but they were out of stock (must be popular)

think out of the 206cc,micra c+c and tigra twintop the 206 is the bigger one thus giving you that 'bit' more room, when needed.

at the end of the day the choice is yours :)

If your considering other options the price is very similar to that of the mini cooper convertible,

i know which one i'd go for :)

lol! well mini is like an insurance group 16 or somethin ridiculus isnt it?

and im only 18.. so finding a hard top convertible that i can afford the insurance on is prooving difficult!!
the 206cc is still coming out best over the micra and the tigra though!

just been seeing what else is about whilst im waiting for my insurance payout!

Mini Cooper Convertible is group 9, which isn't bad at all for a convertible. Although the Micra CC is 5, that Cooper is so much sweeter. alternatively the 206 cc 11 and the cooper os still quicker than both.

you're 18, how long you been driving for?

You've probably already bought your new car but I test drove both the Micra and the 206.

The 206 *can* actually get 2 (squashed) people in the back. The 2 seats in the back of the Micra really are just for shopping.

I thought the Micra was quite cute. I liked that the roof didn't have any clips to ungrip first.

Overall though, the 206cc has more room, more grunt (and I've got a diesel!) and from working for NU for a while, your insurance pay-off will probably be a lot less than you think it is as you can get some good deals on nearly new 206s that you can't get with Micras because they're so new.

Hope this is helpful for you or anyone else.

Cheers
