a few years ago someone bought a mobile phone cover in the shape of a fluffy santas hat, it also lit up when a call was incoming and used that to cover up the gear knob, think they got it from tesco's :)

Hey, that's not such a bad idea!!!

I think I have one of those santa hats somewhere or other.

Thanks for the tip.

I normally put a thick thermal glove over the gearstick at night when I know it's going to be cold.

A glove or the Santa mobile har are practical (and festive in one case), either that or buy the missus the gloves.

An alloy gearknob will be cold when the temperature drops below freezing, it goes with the territory - looks cool and will be :censored: cold but that's the price of vanity I guess.

The other alternative is pop into Ann Summers and get a willy warmer

In the summer we'll all be complaining of the third degree burns from our aluminium gear knobs when we've left the roof off on a baking hot day.....
Life's too short to drive around with your roof up.
