Gear Knob Removal

Hi Guys

I have a '05 206cc man and cant seem to get the gear knob off.
It doesnt seem to be a screw on type, does anyone have any ideas?

almost sure it just pulls off, best have ya roof down first tho

the one in my last pug was an absolute nightmare...gotta do the one in the new cc tonight, really not looking forward to it!
