picked up my cc today...absolutely loving it and the weather was perfect...just got a quick question

it's an allure so has the jbl pack, and the sound is VERY bassey, but there arent any subs in the boot, so where's all that bass coming from?

here's a pic anyway:

needs lowering, so gonna stick it on 30mm eibach's as soon as poss. I got the garage to stick the mesh on from my old car :)

I imagine they will be built into the interior somewhere. When boot space is at a premium they aren't going to put anything else in it.

Get your ears to sense where the noise is coming from :D

it's all coming from the front door speakers...which I presume are components with the large tweeters, and there must be crossovers hidden somewhere.

which begs the question - what's gonna happen when I put my own headunit in :S

Sorry this isn't my field so know bugger all :D

Surely the guys at PGAC know about this ? I think JBL gear is on the GTi 180 as standard or is it different spec ?

Failing that, e-mail Peugeot and get absolutely nowhere :P

Forgot to say - nice car :D

Always liked China blue as a 206 colour and I love the lama grey interior. If I had gone for the 307CC I would have had that interior with Aegean Blue.

thanks, I'm loving it :D There's no bass box in the boot like I was expecting...got my headunit hooked up and the sound isn't bad though. arch extensions, clear repeaters and cda induction are all on too :D

Bass and low frequencies are not directional. That's why it doesn't matter where the subwoofer is placed, same goes for your subwoofer in your home cinema setup.
quality of sound is all down to a decent speaker set up with decent acoustic padding in the doors.

Some nice quad headlights would go well not to mention a Virtuel rear spoiler from Ecosse :D And bonnet vents now I come to think about it too :P

not too keen on the quad headlights really, but it'll be lowered, spoiler, exhaust (once I find one!) as soon as money permits :P

lol no thanks - I bought them for my 1st 206 when they 1st came onto the market - paid about £200 I think and they were the dog's danglies for a while. Until every other nova and saxo driver in the world decided they're "safe man, wikkid" :P

I was the same, me and a few others bought them off here from Rob and paid about £180. They were great once, now they are an embarrassment :D

You can get them for the 350Z as well now

Is yours the brand new Allure spec with the auto wipers & lights, cos if so u should have a JBL bass box in the boot like I did :|
