11k for the CC.
I got £9200. The car was just over 2 years old, it is a uk dealer sourced car and has warranty remaining It has full leather. I paid over 17k for it in July 03.
How old is you're car. Is it an import or uk dealer sourced.

Could you not have sold your own car private nobby ?

£9200 seems very low for a UK car.

I thought I was bad only getting £9800 for mine at approx 2yrs 9 months with 44k miles.

I would have sold mine private if it had been fit for the road.

I was going to sell it private. But it would have meant getting a loan to clear the finance so it was HPI clear then the advertising and the hassle of showing the car. Plus i've heard a lot of bad things about dodgy cheques and bankers drafts.

I guess now's not the time to point out we lost only £2.5k on ours in 2 years, so that's around £100/month? Long live imports is what I say.

Mind you, we were royally fleeced on the Merc so it all evens out in the end :(

Too right Carl.
I don't think i'll buy another car in the UK again, unless it's an excellent finance deal or the car is cheaper than importing. I don't think it makes any difference on the part ex price nowadays.

If I had been buying the 307CC as I planned to do before 350Z thoughts entered my mind then it was definitely going to be an import.

Dealer back up is crap anyway so the saving of a few £k on the same car was a big attraction and as already mentioned you are more likely to gain out of it at resale time.
