Hi all.
As from next Saturday I will be an ex CCer. Part exchanged the cc for a new Impreza this morning.
I'm sorry to see the car go, but I think it's time for a change.
Will still pop into the forum from time to time to check posts and help if possible.
I'm selling a few bits off the car if anyone is interested. They are listed in the for sale section. Just PM me if you want any more details or photo's. If no response by Sunday night they will be going on e-bay.

CC to an Impreza is a big jump. Went out for a test drive, and as long as you don't floor the pedal it drives like any other car. I had a test drive in an STi a few weeks ago and they are a lot more of drivers car.
Plus when you take into account i'm getting a brand new WRX for £15.300 on the road, which includes Subaru's full 3 year warranty.
Its a lot of car for similar money you'd spend on a CC.
Plus it's got 4 wheel drive for the winter.

Does that include the free PPP upgrade that the dealers are doing at the minute?

Good stuff. It's just that I know that Subaru UK were heading off the import problem by (a) offering free PPP for UK buyers and (b) invalidating the warranty for imports with the PPP fitted.

I bought mine from the Netherlands and saved around £6.5k off list, but that was back in Dec 1999 when they were made out of recycled coke cans.

Pic for your perusal:

Nice Pic.
I know they are trying to stop imports by offering the PPP. They are also offering free servicing for 3 years. But even with the offers you're still better off importing and doing the PPP you're self. I think you will still be a couple of grand better off.
I think they may even offer some better deals next month on the current model as the revamped impreza comes out.
