Hey guys, I don’t know if there a’re a lot of people from Belgium on this forum, but this was the most elaborated one so I hope someone can answer my question. I took a look around on this topic but apparently nobody has done the same stupid mistake as I did.

We were on a holiday in Austria. After a 2 days walk in the mountains, we arrived at my lovely 206cc .
Tired and desperatly in the need of a shower, I took place in the drivers seat unlock the rooflocking mechanism and started lowering down the roof.
What I didn’t noticed was that my friend, who was still busy in the trunk, was caught in a discussion and not paying attention anymore to the “roof-situationâ€

like you i didn't think you could lower the roof while the boot was open :?

maybe a trip to the dealers to get all the roof system checked out is in order :)

BTW welcome to the world of the CC

did your friend open the boot while the roof was closing? maybe thats how it confused the system, as itll run the checks before the roof starts moving, not during

Doesnt the boot lid have to open up before the roof can begin to fold away. :?

Hi, I knew of someone who did exactly the same thing with his 2001 model. He ended up with 2 little dents either side of the rear window. I wondered if it was a design fault or just a fault with his, but never had the guts to try it out on mine. Looks like it could be a design fault. I'm surprised that with all the sensors there are with the roof mechanism that Peugoet overlooked a "boot open" sensor.
