I ordered a black 206cc, about 10 weeks ago, but it had an "incident" in transit.
My dad popped down a week before I was due to get my car, just to do a final check, make sure it would be ready in time etc, but they said they were "about to call him" my car had been damaged in transit. They said they weren’t sure the extent of the damage, but it sounded like a broken driver’s window and damaged panels, but they weren’t sure how bad.
I was given the following options
A ....My black car would be repaired, which they didn’t know how long it would take, and they went sure I it could be repaired.
B ....I could order a new black car and it would take another 8-10 weeks.
My dad asked if there were any other black autos in the country and they said no, but they could get me a manual black one, which I didn’t want.
So my final option was
C get a different colour, a man in Basildon had ordered a silver automatic allure, he cancelled his order as he couldn’t afford it, but it was still built, so I could have that one. So the dealer had it transported over for me the next day and diamondbrited etc.
So that’s what I did, on the 3rd Sept (as my dad couldn’t get the 1st or 2nd off work to take me to pick it up), I picked up my beautiful cc, who has been named Poppy
It wasn’t the dealer’s fault that it had been damaged, but he couldn’t have been more apologetic, and threw in some free mats and did my diamondbriting for free.
Here’s my lovely new car in front my lovely new home
