Hi,
Just ordered a 206 2.0 SE CC for my wife, 51 plate 25K miles.
Problem is that whilst test driving I really enjoyed the experience, better than my diesel Volvo anyway!
Problem is i'm 40ish 6' 4" and am unsure what it could do for my image.
Are all 206 CC drivers young and female?
Should I drive it? Can only drive it with the top down of course and have to crouch to get below the windscreen!
Should I be embarrassed?

Buyers are about 50/50 male/female going by forum usage.
Your a bit on the old side
but don't worry about it and enjoy
I was in my 20's when I had my CC but as I turned 30 in December I thought I should move up to a Nissan 350Z Roadster

Well actually I may have been too hasty.
Have just driven the car back from the dealer with the top down and without problems.
Even though I'm 6ft 4ins I can still drive in what seems like a comfortable position.
Did notice that there is no cord in the boot from the folding top mechanism, should I be worried about this?
Also as its an older model the stereo won't switch on without the keys in the ignition even though you can eject a cd without problems.
Is there any way to enable the radio without keys in the ignition?

We didn't have any problems with the kids in the back until they got to about 11/12. In fact, they used to prefer going in the back of the CC (all squashed up) to the back of my old Impreza (proper 4-seater)
Of course it helped that the missus is one of those "sit incredibly close to the steering wheel" people and that when I was a passenger I'd put the seat as far forwards as I could comfortably get away with.
Had two adults in the back once (roof down, though!)
PS: IIRC, there's no way to get the stereo on without the ignition on

Actually my wife also sits incredibly close to the steering wheel, (such that I worry what would happen should the airbag deploy!).
I also sit cramped in the passenger seat and our girls, (aged 9 and 10), would much rather travel in the 206 than in my top of the range Volvo.
And I must admit, so would I!
We used to have a Seicento Sporting that used to sit in our garage all weekend unused. Life was so much simpler without our CC!
