Yep, my new 206cc 1.6 is being delivered next week hopefully.
I nearly lost confidence though - pulled up at a servo in Melbourne, and a gal pulled up alongside me in a 12 month old 206cc, telling me horror stories of squeaky brakes, 6 warranty calls and a first service that cost $1300.
I read a few similar stories here, too. But they all seemed to date back a while.. So, I'm hoping that a lot of the problems have been sorted out in the 04/05 builds...
Reassurance, anyone?

Welcome to the world of CC's
As mentioned on other threads, any early problems shouldnt affect your 04/05 build. For every bad story that you hear .... there are always many more good stories and thats why we love of CC's.
Happy motoring !!!

Good luck with the CC - plenty bad examples out there I'm sure but far outnumbered by the good ones.

Thanks, guys, I appreciate that. Feeling more confident already.
The customer that I'm currently working for (you may have heard of them - they make cars with a 3-pointed star logo) tells me that even some of their high-end models come back for 6 or 7 warranty calls in the first 12 months.
So, my mind is officially at ease and I'm excited again. And, to top it all off, my 5-year-old daughter doesn't mind sitting in the back!
