I have a two year old cc and just recently have started to get a clonk from somewhere under the front end when braking to a halt with the roof down it may be that i cant hear it with the roof up.local garage said it was a dry suspension joint and lubricated it but didn't make any difference. any ideas?

thats what mine did or similar, it sounded like the brakes to me ... perhaps the same problem? They messed with my brakes alot. I was convinced that my brakes "stuck on" alot and caused alot of brake dust .. thus the screaming as I stopped. If I left the car over night on the handbrake it stuck ... and make a huge clunk when I moved off in reverse. It took them a long time to sort that problem out.
