Saw a CC yesterday in dark metallic blue -- far darker than Agean Blue. Looked pretty smart, IMHO. Is this a new colour?

Well I'd never seen one before, anyway.

Been in Florida for the last two weeks where all the cars are either white or gold

Only ever saw one which was at the local tip - pug dealer.

Awaiting some poor unsuspecting customer.

Bif,

I'm not being negative against 206CC's - just the dealer.

You would do the same if they were mostly responsible for causing over £3000 of damage to your car then denied ever doing any work on it.

They also sold a used 206CC to a member on here and then told her less than 1000 miles later that her tyres were illegal - obviously like that when they sold the car to her.

Much like the Ford dealer who took in my wife's old Fiesta for a brake recall, which involved changing the pads for new ones (different compound). A week later it was in for a service, and they told her the pads were 15% worn!

Derek, but you put all this in answer to something on the colour of a cc!! I realise that there are some faults with the car and dealers but I come on forums to get a feeling of community. I can't really complain about my car and the dealer has been very good.

It has started to hack me off that you just keep negative replies to everything. I realise that you should always get the rough with the smooth but it was just a question about a colour.

I don't want this to sound rude but if you are not careful you will just come accross like a bitter person that perhaps needs to let go.

Sorry Bif but if a comment against a dealer hacks you off then you maybe need to chill out a little.

Anyway back on topic - Carl saw a China Blue CC which he liked.

Most people do like that colour, it was always my favourite on the 206 range but you could only get it on higher spec models initially, not sure about now.

Think we are getting confused!

There are now 3 blue colours for the cc.

China - blue, which is almost silver metalic.
Aegean -blue, which iss err pearl blue.
And now there is a navy Blue, which is probably what Carl has seen and only seems to have become available in the last 6 months.

The almost silver metallic is actually called moonstone.

The blue that Carl saw was likely China Blue - it's quite dark but nice.

In the CC range, China Blue was originally available on imports before becoming a UK option.
