Here is a problem that’s just started on my 02 plate cc. After travelling a few hundred miles the weekend, when I pulled up to park the car, and took the key out of the ignition, the warning buzzer started (like the one that warns you the boot flap isn’t closed so you cant take the roof down) and wouldn’t stop until the key was back in the ignition. Obviously you can’t leave it there, so I got out the car, buzzer sounding, closed the door and it stopped, but I couldn’t use the remote to lock the car doors. I had to do that manually. After about 10 minutes or so, I went back to the car, and everything worked normally. This has happened on two occasions now, and this morning, after I started the car and began to drive off, the buzzer gave me three beeps for no reason. Very odd. Any suggestions?

I had this a few times and I was also getting it where the key fob would sometimes not open the door, but then it would after a few mins.

I only had this about twice in a year but it did annoy me. I took the car in a few weeks ago and they did a software upgrade and so far so good.

I wonder if there is a three button reset on these cars as it always seems to come down to software. I've just booked my car in, so hopefully, as you say, they can upgrade the software and everything work fine.

It is anoyying though.
