Hi I saw something on this forum about warranty being two years.
I asked the salesman at motorpoint about this ,peugeot and i think Alfa Romeo and one other hadn`t confirmed 2 years yet.
Although it is allegedly EU law that anything you purchase has now 2yr warantee instead of just 1yr.
hope this helps.
I am off now to the South of France.....
Yummy Scrummy SUNSHINE...

I have not got my car yet....doh

I've got a 206 CC 1.6 s on order from CO-OP motor group they are a peugeot dealer but unusually also do imports, so I am hoping for good service. Price with 3 years Peugeot warranty and aegean blue paint was £13,330.

Motorpoint is closer and £500 cheaper, but only 1 years warranty and the sales man was the rudest I've ever met so I walked out.

Cheapest import I found on the web was One Swoop at £13k for the 2.0 SE cc, 3 years 3rd party warranty (don't know if it is any good) but delivery was 26 to 30 weeks.

Wasn't the 2yr EU warranty thingy a big red herring?

There was a thread (months back) saying that it's not 2yrs manufacturers, but 1 yr manufacturer and 1 year dealer???? Try using the search button to find the thread?

I can confirm that after just getting an import and having it inot the dealer 7 timers in 4 weeks.

That the warranty is 2 years NOT 1.

It changed in Jan this year. Make sure u get it - you may need it!!!

I've had an e-mail from Peugeot today confirming that it is only 1yr warranty for an import, they suggest to go to "Extended Warranties" if you wish to extend it?.
