I've got an 18 month old 206cc. Its started giving me a knocking sound from the front of the car when I go over bumps, probably susepnsion ?
It seems to happen at random times as well. One day it will knock the next day nothing !
Any ideas ??? :?
How much would a Peugeot dealer charge for rectification ??
Would this be covered by the warranty ?

Hi,

I am having the same problem, but my baby is now 4 years old. It seems to be coming from the left side of the car!?!?!?
Haven't got a clue why, I also need to take mine in for a service, but would rather know what it is before Peugeot charge me and arm and a leg to sort it all out.

tis either going to be a antiroll bar drop link worn or the inner sphere joint on the lower wish bone (frontmost) :D

My car has just been back for the same sort of problem, it turned out to be both frt anti roll bar links and TCA bushes.

I had vibrations on front when accelerating up to 80km/h .
After a monthly investigation I checked the wheels alignment and all my front suspension problems disapeared. Suprisingly before realgnment car behaved correctly when driving with passager and always kept straight line and only leaned right when accelerating.
After realignment it drives perfectly and I never loved it more then now. :D
