yes.. your pic is of a 2.0 litre(rfn) or 1.8.
the tu engines have differant setups.
tu engines have the up stream and down stream
2.0 have single in the downpipe. :D
Yep my picture is of a (RFN i.e 2 lambda car - as opposed to RFR(?) = 1 lambda) EW engined car because that is what the topic is about.

All CC SE's have 2 lambdas. Who mentioned a TU engine...?

Please can someone help regarding my Exhaust system. Car is 2001 Y reg 206CC 2.0SE which has only covered 17500 miles !!! took it to Peugeot main dealer the other day to take advantage of £200 service+MOT offer and they said I need a new exhaust system costing £800+!!!!!!! Have seen this system below on the net

http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/exhausts_de ... ordID=2043

and was wondering if it can be made to fit "without too much hassle" as the local garage down the road are prepared to fit it. Any advice/help appreciated. Thank you.

Rgds

had a local place bodge a gti centre pipe, like the one in the link, onto my CC, lasted for a few months b4 the silencer in the middle collapsed internally after all the bashing and hammering to get it to fit :( after that they just fitted a stainless steel pipe from the cat to the back box, dunno if it lasted as the CC was sold a few months l8r.

to your origional question ...id have to say i dont think that particular system will fit your car.but i know either bosal or walker? can supply u a repair pipe for your 2.0 (rfn) 206
or get your dealer to give better dicount.

Reap did you read the bit about that exhaust section fitting if it was shortened?
Or are there other reasons why it wouldn't fit?

Just checked both Walker and Bosal and they only have listings for the 1600. Do you know of anyone offering the replacement section on the 2l yet? If so can you work your magic and get some part numbers, I have a funny feeling I will be needing it in the next few months.

To give you a straight answer there seems to be no mid section replacement for the 2 lambda GTi/2.0 CC.

There's 2 ways around this

1)Get that section from the single lambda car and modify it to fit.
2)Get a custom mid section made.

There could possibly be a 3rd fix and that's if the magnex mid section fit...nobody seems to know though...
