My example is overtaking a lorry that's doing 40mph on a 60mph road where you may have to tip 60mph to safely get past, happens alot in on the single carriage lanes I drive on. If you didn't speed up you'd hit the oncoming traffic & if you didn't overtake you cause a tailback & take longer on your journey. I'm not suggseting racing around like a mad thing, just keeping the flow...

I remember once driving along a dual carriageway with a 40 limit (for no good reason) keeping up with the flow of traffic otherwise i would have held everyone else up.
