They are not speed cameras................they are safety cameras!!! Thats why they are hidden then is it you slimy money grabbing scumbags.

Hopefully these will be found and logged online so people can systematically destroy them with heavy hammers until they are withdrawn.

These are sited about 12 miles from my house - currently on trial so no one will be prosecuted.

The no prosecutions bit has been tested by myself

What if you're just overtaking? Sometimes speeding is necessary. :P

My example is overtaking a lorry that's doing 40mph on a 60mph road where you may have to tip 60mph to safely get past, happens alot in on the single carriage lanes I drive on. If you didn't speed up you'd hit the oncoming traffic & if you didn't overtake you cause a tailback & take longer on your journey. I'm not suggseting racing around like a mad thing, just keeping the flow... :)

I remember once driving along a dual carriageway with a 40 limit (for no good reason) keeping up with the flow of traffic otherwise i would have held everyone else up.

there's me trundling along at 52mph and the mobile camera stuck behind a bus shelter thinks it has won the lottery.
