Thanks to this site and other info we have just had the mid section exhaust replaced on my wifes 206 CC.

But rather than paying the £900  Pug price our local (and very good) tyre and exhaust place managed to fit what looks like a 206 2.0 Gti mid section in. Ok they had to cut and weld it just after the CAT and sensor but for well under £200 we are more than happy with that.

Based on the discussions here I though we would post the parts details of the part here. They modified and fitted the following.

PG569K Middle Box 206 2.0

Fitted by Discount Tyres and Exhauses in Hemel Hempstead, who have always been excellent for both tyres and the like.

The alternative was Top Gear in Aylesbury who would have custom made pipework to fit at (irrc) £200 ish.

The 206 CC was one fo the first in the UK, at almost 3 years old and 60K miles.

Hope this helps for the future.

Glad you got it sorted, but still seems expensive. Got mine fitted for less than £60!

I used Top Gear in London:

TOP GEAR LONDON
249-253 Queenstown Road
BATTERSEA
SW8 3NP
Contact - Pav/Jazz
on - 020 7627 5444

They charged me £260 incl VAT to replace the back box and the mid section, with a brand new stainless steel system. It has a lifetime warranty! Peugeot had quoted me £1,000 for parts and labour to do this same job. BIG thanks to Pav at Top Gear - I recommend them highly! :D
