Yeah, usually a visit to Pug dealer....

Could be loads of things and need to hook up to download diagnostic code and reset it.....if its under warranty dont panic

Mine was HT leads, coils and injectors (Replaced uner warranty :D )
But i am sure i have seen people with exhaust Lamda(?) valve issues etc

Does it still run rough...mine was running on two cylinders but made it to dealer

i had this on mine - often related to damp or cold conditions.

you would drive the car away and be seriously low on power.

often cured as you say by switching off ignition and restarting altho engine diagnostic light would flash.

normally at end of 3rd journey (can be very short journeys if required) and then EDL would stay on. normally after another 4 journeys the light would eventually go off.

can't help on cause as i had a number of engine issues. i took it to the dealer once and they couldn't find anything wrong - as always.

I had a spark plug with cracked ceramic part on it therefore it only fired on 3 cylinders - this made the light come on...
I put some decents plugs in it and the light stayed on. Basically it has stored a fault code that once upon a time it had a problem. I just disconnected the battery and all was fine when i reconnected it.

I have had this problem on and off now since Sept. Car has been in to the dealer about three times and each time they have tried or changed something different. Two weeks agao I got in touch with Peugeot Uk and the next day my local dealer phoned to say how sorry they were and booked my car in for a week and loaned me one off theirs. They have now done a software download and hope that has sorted out the problem but I cant tell as I have not used my car since getting it back. Ill let you know !!!
