Forgive the sudden barrage of questions. One year on and 29,000kms later, who would've thought there'd be any questions left to ask ?
Most of you guys live in colder, more miserable climates than we experience here in Sydney. So, I'm wondering whether you have the same problem with condensation that I seem to get whenever I try to demist the windscreen. Never had any drama with any other car !
Basically, condensation starts creeping up the windscreen. And unless you have the windscreen wipers on as well, it just keeps creeping up until visibility is reduced to nil. The only other way to reduce the condensation seems to be to set the temperature in the car greater than the temperature outside the car. This is not always a comfortable solution in Summer, but I've found that it does get rid of the condensation.
Anybody got any thoughts ?

Thanks Chaos, sounds like a good tip. It'z bizarre 'cos no other car I've had has done this. Do you know if this is something I can do for myself or is a PUG service thing that only PUG people can deal with ?
Nicck - you forget: Australia is where the worst of the worst poms were sent many years ago. Generations of in-breeding over a couple of hundred years has enabled us to perfect any and all defects in behaviour, and our isolation from the rest of the world means there's no one to watch over us. We've 'improved' our skills now. We have perfected whinging and everything else to pure art forms ! ;-)

I dropped by at the service centre today.
The pollen filter is a card approx. 12" x 6" x 3/4" and lies horizontally under the windscreen.
Basically, from under the bonnet, you reach in up under the windscreen from where the air vent plastic dish type thing is (my build plate is riveted to this plastic thing). There's a knack to sliding it out, but there are no clips or screws or anything else to undo.
Apparently, this filter is replaced every 40,000kms.
