Today was the day and I am the proud owner to be of a new 206cc, moonstone blue.
I pick it up in a few weeks- can't wait!

Oh, apparently the price is dropping again at 1/1/05 too, due to the changes in duty.

Maybe we could have a meet 15th January ??? Hopefully ms_lise would have her CC by that date ....... and we could have one of our biggest turnouts :D

:D I bought it from Alec Mildren in Artarmon, I tried Parra but they were off on the price.

I dont know when I'll get the car, they say 20th Jan because even though it's in peugeot aus. stock, they have to now get it through & complied- and I gather there are quite a few cars waiting for 05 before going through, so my car joins the queue. I will keep asking nicely to get it early though, dont want to miss any summer weather!

If I have it in time for the meet, I'll come along for sure.

Unfortunately no, the weather has been so gorgeous though, I wish I had it.
The date is the 20th on the contract, but it depends on peugeot getting it to the dealer, so who knows...
I am going to call next week and beg and plead with the dealer to make sure it's on time!

I hope the sun shines well beyond the proud ay that you get your CC.

If you think it's going to be fun, you are under estimating! :D

Take a camera on the day you pick it up and get someone to take a shot of how happy you are. We'd all love to see it.

Good luck with the wait. Patience has its rewards!!!!!
Cheers

I cant wait - since I bought it I have seen 50,000 (well lots) of CCs on the road, taunting me.. most with their roofs UP on gorgeous days.. what a waste. Why bother with a convertible to drive it with the roof up??

Yeah i been driving arround topless seeing lots of CC with roof up in these last few days (nice 20ish degree C weather), whats up with that? only take 30sec to put roof down.

I too have been doing lots of topless driving with the result that I now have a forehead that will be very nicely tanned once the redness fades. :-(

Q. How do I get the rest of me to catch up with the tan ? Lie on the boot lid ???

Methinks it might be time to keep some sunscreen in the glovebox.
Cheers,
Michael

Get a bottle of spray on sunscreen, it's much easier to pop on quickly, rather than sitting at lights trying to put the cream on.

My best effort in a convertible was getting burnt (while wearing a lowish cut singlet) on the chest, but with the seat belt on... the result was a semi circle of bright red, with a white stripe through the middle... lovely
