Zetec

did u get an AA inspection done on it. You won't know what the kerbing was from unless you get it checked. I certainly wouldn't trust a dealer

register yourself with http://www.autotrader.co.uk

you will be able to do a FULL search on their site and I am sure you will find a dealer selling exactly what you want. Then you can use this info to make the dealers drop their prices

Zetec, if you do end up going for that other Pug check to see if the dealer repairs the alloys by filing down the curb damage - there are horrendous examples of DIY jobs out there. I'd also check the air con/climate control works as well, its expensive to put right.

If you really want a good deal on a UK spec 2 ltr se leather but much cheaper than you've already been offered, PM me and I'll sort you one out mate, I'm changing mine

So what's the matter with imports,It's inevitable supply & demand. Peugeot UK can't supply cars in a reasonable time so independents bring cars in themselves. Same cars off the same production line.
Admittedly it plays havoc with 2nd hand prices, but it sorts out in a couple of years, as seen in the Motorbike market who pioneered these Parallel Imports.
I also don't like very much the high handed attitiude of official dealers who look down their nose at me as an owner of a "Parallel"
I bought the car for what it is, not to line the pockets of official delaers.
