basically i need to know how the hell to take off & refit the headlamp adjustment motor & then manually reset the headlamp beam ( its currently way higher than the o/s headlamp). i know the motor works coz i can hear it but its not altering the headlamp beam. any advice much appreciated

hia mate.
you dont need to remove the level motor from the unit......there are 2 adjusting screws on the light .1 for side to side and the other to go up and down.
just make sure you have your lights set at its highest in the car when you adjust them. :D

ok, crisis over, i managed to change em. its easy once you get the headlamp out of the car as the motor just clicks 30 degrees clockwise & pulls off the rear of the unit. unfortunately mine wouldnt adjust with the allen keys manually as the arm inside the adjustor motor had snapped. All fixed & working again now though even if id did cost £38 for a new headlamp adjustor motor !
