Forgot something, roof problem

Hi all,

Today I forgot to pull the boot curtain to open my roof. I proceeded to unhook the latch from inside & pulled the switch up to open. Of coz, the beeping sound came on & the roof can't open.

So, without securing the latch, I went to pull the boot curtain and then tried to activate the switch to open the roof again. The windows then were jerking to come down accompanied by the beeping sound. I stopped the action, hook back the latch, off the engine and tried the whole normal process of opening the roof again. Again, the windows come down halting with the beeping.

Next I proceeded to lower all the windows first by the normal means and then activate the roof switch. All I can hear was the motor but nothing works.

not heard of this one b4,maybe someone else can shed some light on the situation but if no can it looks like a trip to the dealers

when i forget to pull the boot curtain across i never close the latches back before i get out, and i dont have any problems so must be something else

Whenever I did this I twatted my head on the latch and it REALLY hurts!!!!

Made a trip to the dealer, appointment is on Thursday.
It's the 2nd time the roof failed to opened. The 1st time it was stucked halfway.

I tried to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery but guess what.....the radio was locked & I do not have the code to unlock!!! Managed to get the codes from the dealer today........

Anyway, will have problems finding out the real cause of the roof problem because......I'm in France & my understanding of the language is limited
