I am just toying with the idea of trading in my beloved 206cc (2002, 1.6 auto + usual leather and nick nacks), dealer offer $23,000 for it. Is that a good price? and what private sale go for these days?

thanks guys

$23k!!! gee... which dealer may I ask?

How many KMs have you done? you should be able to get a better price privately, but you must realise it has been a buyer's market in the second hand car game for the last 2 years.

I'm seeing 2002 2.0 CCs with leather and <10k kms selling in the paper for $32k.

What new car have you got in mind?

Must join us for the 11 Sept drive before selling it then! I'm still having a ball with mine!

yeah drive day on 9.11, i might make it... I got quoted at Marshall parra, My CC clock at 32,000km now. So $23K isnt too good then hey?
I still love the CC but after sitting in the new SLK i kinda like it!! It a damn fine car, and i like the low sitting position, got a very sporty feel when driving it.

That price is very low. At that price, I'm sure I can convince a friend to buy it off you!! :)

Hope to see you at the drive!!
