I am looking for a space saver wheel for my 206 CC, only problem is I am located in Malaysia ! Find parts for this car is difficult here in South East Asia. Asking the local Peugeot distributor, they suggest I get an alloy rim instead which cost a bomb !

I do not have much knowledge about wheel business, so here is my questions,

1) Other than 206, is it possible to get compatible wheel from other models such as Citroen or 306 ?

2) BTW is the a code number/name for 206 space saver wheel ?
Maybe the Peugeot people can find out for me.

I will soon going on a long trip, fees pretty uneasy without a spare.

on a cc? where would you put a space saver?.if you put it in the boot you cant have the roof down.and there is nowhere to sling it underneath.??

there's plenty of room in the boot for a space saver even with roof down - there is also plenty of room for a full size alloy spare with roof down.

if i was to carry a spare it would be a full size alloy as a few have done including nobby as you can turn it upside down and reclaim most of th room for storage.

If you put a spare in the boot, how would you strap it down to stop it moving around (or coming loose in the event of a shunt)?

I can see you ending up with two wheel-sized dents in the rear wings :rotfl:
