Bit of a delay, but this is to announce the arrival of our No. 1 Son.!

Diane gave birth to Samuel in a speedy 2hrs 17 minutes from arrival in the delivery suite. Born at 20.42 on July 7th 2004, he was 3.78kg (8lb 5oz). He decided to depart slightly from the norm and came out with his fist in his right eye and then both arms out like superman, so he's had his first shiner already!
Mum and son were both fine and in the best NHS tradition were home by 10.30 the next morning.
Sam's has now passed the 9lb 12oz mark. He's only waking up once during the night for a milky top-up and only really cries when he is a bit peckish!

We'll let you know how he gets on with the car seat in the cc!

Sam's 5 weeks old today and now weighs in at 11lb 14oz. It's all the draught food he's getting!

Can't report on using the cc for him and his kit yet, cos his Dad keeps nicking the cc to go to work!

(I'll get the keys for the other car forced upon me one of these days..)

To all the youngsters- See? 31 isn't over the hill.
