Not been on here for a while but just thought I'd let you know about a recall notice I received today for my 206CC SE.

Apparently I need a software upgrade, and I quote 'to prevent any risk of inadvertant activation of the horn'

Shock horror, I thought, as I dropped everything and made a dash to my PUD dealer - NOT :!: :hyper:

This has actually happened to me.

Car had been parked all day in works car park. When I flashed my key to get in, the &*^%$£ horn went off, couldnt shut it off for love nor money, eventually it stopped when it burnt itself out.

Visit to the monkeys who put in a new horn!

Go out for a meal with hubby. Flashed key to get into car and the $£%* horn goes off again, hubby took the battery terminal off, and horn stopped.

Another visit to the monkeys who did a software upgrade.

Go for the recall, its dead embarrassing when the horn wont shut up!

Inadvertently getting the horn on the public road is not recommended, and I fully support Pug in bringing this recall to your attention.

You will never get any women into trouble now  and no more gawping as you drive by. I think I will not go for this recall myself :)
