Does anyone know anything about the Air con system?
Mine makes a hideous racquet which sometimes goes, but always comes back when first started up?
The Air con works, the only time it goes is when you hit the Off switch.
Sounds like a job for Warwick Wright Me Thinks.
PS I'm a Club Virgin and just lost my cherry with this mail.

Wow! this sarted happening to me 2 days ago,,
Fan slows right down makes funny noises and seems to lose all power,, switching off and on sometime fixes the problem for a short while. Aircon seems to still be cooling the air, so Im gueswsing its either the electrics suplying the fan with power (the fan speed controller) or the fan motor itself.
If anyone would tell me where to find the fan blower, id appreciate it, is it under the hood or can I access it from inside the vehicle by removing some pannels,,, I dont know if this is related, but This has only just started happening shortly after my 40k service,, Maybe the muppets who serviced my car dislodged something or didnt connect something up properly.. I know they changed the pollen filter, which im guessing is somewhere close to the fan unit...
Great site by the way,, been reading the page a while now, but this actually got me to register
Hope one of you PUG experts can help

does the fan sound like you are tuning in an old style dial type radio?usally when you turn the fan speed up or down.
fan is on the nsf of car under dash.need to remove glove box, rotate fan direction to the rear of the car(up wards as you are kneeling down in front of it )and it will just pop out.pull out through hole where glove box should be.
