it's 10/40 that i have been putting in.
i had to fill it up just prior to the 40k service but i was hoping it was only required because it had been going for 20k miles without a top up.
it got serviced on 31st june and was reading full and within 2 weeks was back down to minimum - manual dipstick reading confirmed it was down.
put more oil is but it's back to minimum. was gonna put more in tonight but thought i may as well leave it as it's at the zoo tomorrow at 8.30am anyway.
it seems to be burning oil as there is a lot of residue on the exhaust compared to previously

well it went in today and they said oil is eaking from the gearbox or the crankshaft.
i'm 100% totally unconvinced but they have it back on monday for two days. courtesy cars were all booked out so they are giving me their spare car - can't complain too much as i never bought the car from them but will mention when i take it in that i think they are wrong on their diagnosis
