Hi, have just swapped factory fit headunit for a Sony one in my 2001 non multiplexed CC. Fitting no problem but the opening the unit sits in is custom sized for the factory unit leaving me with a odd looking round cornered gap with an obviously too small unit in the middle.
On Fords you can get a bit of trim to help the hole fit if you swap units in them
Rang local monkeys but they were no help.

Can you get hold of a new surround/masking trim to make the dash look better?

There's 2 types of 206 facia isn't there??

There's the later rectangular slot and the earlier rounded corner facia.

I thought all CC's had the later style?

Or does a normal stereo still not fit with the later facia?

the semi mux cars still have the older style midle panel

i think the easiest thing is to ask your dealer to order the aftermarket radio panel, since peugeot provides them self.
iif your dealer doesnt have a clue what ya talking about or dont feel like looking up the partnumber.
i could look it up

If you could give me the part no I would be grateful. Popped into a Pug dealer on my travels today and actually showed them the part needed and they still had no idea except to have a Peugeot unit in there.

I have one for a 206 at home - interested in buying it or have you already got one on order? I bought mine from Halfords before realising I didn't need one!

My 2001 SE doesn't have a silver one, are you thinking of the Quicksilver 1.6 CC's that have been done recently. I was parked near one recently and they do have a few flashes of silver in various parts of the dash.
