Service intervals? And help my engines blown up!

The 6K "service" is not a service at all.. It is a basic "safety check".. ie, checking oil and coolant loss etc..

The 1st Service is at 20K miles or two years whichever comes sooner.. As is stated in the owners manual.. (Ignorance is not a defense)

If you missed the service by more than 1,000 miles then the warranty will be invalidated..

But you would have a good case with Peugeot customer services to honour a "good Will" payment in respect of a portion of the repair costs.. ie They pay for the parts you pay for the labour...or something similar..

Note to rmh: At the 6K check the service interval counter is NOT reset.. and therefore there would be 14K miles till the 1st service..
