is it possible to connect a laptop in order to play MP3s to the standard Clarion CD player and how to do this?what kind of IN/OUT ports can I find at the rear of the head unit and how do you connect a CD changer...for example,if the IN ports are 2 and they are red/white,it will be very easy to connect...please tell me if anyone knows what the rear of the player looks like, meaning IN.OUT ports...thank you

The short answer is that you can't connect a laptop.

The only connections you will find at the back of your Carion unit are:

1 - Standard ISO connectors (2 of them, 1 for speakers 1 for functions such as power, remote control stalk etc)

2 - Large rectangular connector (presumably to connect the CD changer - I don't have one!)

3 - Ariel input

There are no red and white inputs on the back at all.

Hope this helps!

if you have an ariel input you can plug your lap top in to that using a "fm modulator" you can buy one from any good stereo store

I think someone once mentioned in here that you can use some of the pins from the CD autochanger cable... I'll do a bit of digging to see if I can find the post again.
