It as been over 3 excellent years since the lauch of the 206CC so there was bound to be a very close rival sometime and it's looks like the tigra is the up and coming champion to be, if the article is anything to go by
Vauxhall or no Vauxhall. The Tigra still looks cool. Bet Vauxhall dealers are more helpful and friendly than the majority of peugeot dealers out there. I also suspect there cars are better built.
I still love my CC though!

Not in my experience, in fact it's a good job I bought my cc cos the Tigra was falling to bits and I had fallen out with every local Vauxhall dealer in the area!
Tigra looks nice..........apart from those god damn AWFUL looking rear headrests and I personally would never ever buy another Vauxhall again, both cars N vectra, 52 corsa sri, had a engine malfunction which nearly cost me my life 3 times in the corsa due to teh engine cutting out randomly, and once at 65pmh which scared the s**t outta me, and they reufused to admit it was a known fault on the engines and didnt care one little bit, also the staff were so cold towards customers as though they couldnt give a damn after they sold the car. So, pug for me, as my local pug dealers have been brill with fixing little probs Ive been having, most recently being replacing the manifold.

According to Auto Express it's going to be made by the roof people and they only expect to do 1000 RHD models a year so don't expect to see too many on the streets! Got to say it looks good but looking at the interiors in Auto Express I still prefer the 206cc.
Yeah I agree the 206cc interior is nicer. We've also got a standard din size stereo so makes upgrading much easier though the tigra stereo looks like double din.

I even prefer the 206cc interior to the 307cc, shame really, if the 307cc came with a decent diesel engine and I liked the interior a bit more it'd definitely be the next car... A friend has a Seat diesel, the acceleration is stunning along with outragous economy!
I personally think that the Tigra looks pig ugly.
Vauxhall put that horrible silver ----v---- thing on the front of their cars and it's crap.
The Micra looks better, though I drove one recently (an ordinary one) and it's a bit disconcerting being able to see the headlights and not the bonnet.
I think of it like this, the 206cc has been out for a few years...
They are comparing new cars to it and its still managing to hold its own, quite convincingly too.
I think that says a lot.
Amen to that. The SLK may have started the "folding metal roof" trend, but the CC made it available to the masses. Without the CC, there would have been none of the pretenders (Micra, COpen, new Megane, Tigra).

Dont' be surprised at the media crowing for a challenger to the CC - this time it is the Tigra, last time it was the StreetKa. The Tigra is just a Vauxhall (driven a Corsa recently - awful) & don't expect their dealers to be any better than Peugeots cos they wont be, AND they will have no experience of the folding roof either when, and it IS when, they have leak problems.
You think I am biased? Read The Autocar review of the Tigra and tell me who is biased!! This is the last Autocar I will buy as most of the article is just crass bashing of the CC......
well i went round a motor show at the weekend to find a new car, sold the cc as i WAS a final year student , now ive finished uni was going to get a super mini type car. looked all day and nothing compares to the ccs handling and looks and a good price to also other rivals have a slower 0-60 i liked the c3 ministry special edition but no air con, not even optional so......... as soon as i get a job another cc it is!!!
