The Sony CDX-T69 autochanger works with the standard Clarion head unit that comes in the CC. You need the Sony changer unit + an interface cable that costs about an extra £50 - this makes the Sony unit talk to the head unit as though it's a Clarion.
I have not had this fitted - yet - but have had a PM from another CC owner who had this unit fitted by the dealer prior to delivery, so guess it all works OK.
I am having my CD changer fitted in the next few weeks (will be a CDX-T69 too) as can get the kit all in for under £200 online.

I'd be a bit wary about going for that one - to start with why on earth have they put 6x9's in there? It's only worth having a sub in the boot as you won't be able to hear anmy mid or high frequency sound through the boot walls...Louis - have you seen this on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 34574&rd=1

So its not worth bidding on then?
Bit confused now.
So how much would it cost to get a custom made sub and amp?
As surely that is a good price.
Would i need to change my original head unit? as i really dont want to for security reason. I know i would need to change the speakers but what too.

Price isn't everything - buying a piece of audio equipment without hearing it first is never a good idea - ICE is an art (and I don't pretend to be an artist!)
For example, there's no information as to the size of the enclosure for the sub. Too small or too big and it will sound terrible. There's no information as to the handling of the sub and power of the amp - if they are mismatched then you could damage one or both of them. Also are the 6x9s in the same enclosure as the sub? If so then you run a real risk of blowing at least one of the speakers if they are mismatched.
If the guy who made this knew his stuff and did it properly then you should be fine - but the inclusion of 6x9's rings warning bells (no ICE expert would EVER put 6x9s in the boot). His descripion says it all: "AS YOU CAN ALSO SEE THIS HAS A PAIR OF JBL 6X9'S ... WHICH REALLY SOUND THE PART WHEN YOU ARE SHOWING OFF TO YOUR MATES WHEN YOU HAVE THE BOOT OPEN!"

That's always a difficult question! I made my own and after several attempts I got a pretty good sound.
There are quite a few places that will make a sub to fit your car but I don't know any of them I'm afraid - I believe Lyndon had one made up for him in Notts (not 100 miles away from you!) so he may be able to help (nudge nudge!)
