Firstly, I have had my CC SE for 3 weeks now and it is fantastic!!
At the weekend I was showing off to friends and putting the roof up and down with the engine off. When I went to start the car, it didn't start quite as smoothly as normal. This made me wonder if my continuos upping and downing of the roof had worn down the battery!
When you put your roof up or down do you have the engine running or just the ignition on?
Engine off or on when raising roof

Rapsodi, I think you found out the correct method the hard way
I always keep the engine running when operating the roof (and even the windows) because whilst the engine runs the battery is being charged by the alternator.
Once it stops any major drain of power like using the roof saps the battery without immediate recharging.
Robbie.

you don't need the car running, just at the 2nd key position, but like robbie i normally run the engine as it will drain the power and i sometimes i feel it is struggling when engine is off.
